Working process of RO system

The working principle of seawater desalination equipment is mainly based on reverse osmosis technology

Pre treatment: Seawater first goes through a pre-treatment system to remove impurities such as large suspended particles, organic matter, and sediment.

Feed pump: Pre treated seawater is fed into the feed pump, and through the pressure of the feed pump, seawater is sent into the interior of the seawater desalination unit.

Membrane separation: Within the seawater desalination unit, a semi permeable membrane (also known as reverse osmosis membrane) is used for the separation of seawater. 

Freshwater collection: When seawater passes through a semi permeable membrane, water molecules and small positive ions dissolved in water are separated, forming freshwater. These freshwater are collected and stored in freshwater tanks.

Concentrated water discharge: Part of the concentrated water will be discharged to maintain the effectiveness of the semi permeable membrane and the stable operation of the system.
