The treatment process of stainless steel pickling wastewater mainly includes the following steps: pre treatment, neutralization reaction, flocculation and sedimentation, deep treatment, and sludge treatment.
- Pre treatment stage: Firstly, large suspended particles in the wastewater are removed through grids and regulating tanks, while initially balancing the water quality to ensure the stability of subsequent treatment.
- Neutralization reaction stage: Alkaline substances such as limestone, sodium hydroxide, or sodium carbonate are used for neutralization reaction to reduce the acidity in the wastewater, restore the pH value to neutral or close to neutral, and promote the precipitation of heavy metal ions in the form of hydroxides.
- Flocculation and precipitation stage: Add appropriate coagulants such as polyaluminum chloride and polyacrylamide to promote the formation of larger flocs of small particles and colloidal substances. Through precipitation separation, further remove heavy metal ions and other suspended solids from the wastewater.
- Deep treatment stage: For wastewater that still contains low concentrations of harmful substances, advanced oxidation methods (such as Fenton reagent oxidation, electrochemical oxidation, etc.) and adsorption methods (such as activated carbon adsorption, ion exchange resin adsorption) can be used for further purification.
- Sludge treatment stage: The collected sediment sludge needs to be concentrated and dehydrated to achieve the goal of reduction, and then appropriate disposal methods are selected according to the nature of the sludge, such as dry incineration, solidification landfill, or resource utilization.
